AnoPresyo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AnoPresyo ("we", "our") handles information. It applies to the AnoPresyo iOS and Android apps and the web app.

Overview

AnoPresyo is a free price-information aggregator for the Philippines. We do not require an account, we never ask for your name, email, or payment details, and we do not sell personal data.

Information the App Processes

  • Location (optional). With your permission, precise location is used only to find your nearest SM branch, gas/EV stations, and to draw routes from where you are. Location is processed in memory on your device for these features and is not stored, logged, or transmitted to us. You can decline and still use every other feature.

  • Public price data. The App fetches public information from third-party sources: SM Markets product catalog, Department of Agriculture Bantay Presyo, DOE/GasWatch PH fuel data, and OpenChargeMap. Your queries go directly to those services; we operate no intermediate server that profiles you.

  • Advertising (mobile apps only). The iOS and Android apps show ads via Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. You may reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (iOS: Privacy → Tracking; Android: Ads → Delete advertising ID). AnoPresyo does not access or combine this data itself.

  • Local storage. Preferences (theme, selected branch, basket items) are saved only on your device.

    No accounts, no contacts, no photos, no health or financial information, no precise location history, no purchase records.

    Children

    The App is rated 4+ / Everyone and contains no mature content. We knowingly collect no personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

    Your Choices

  • Deny or revoke location permission anytime in system Settings.

  • Reset your advertising identifier in device settings.

  • Clear all local App data by uninstalling.
